Peugeot is showing a wide spectrum of vehicles here at Frankfurt 2013, with the amazingly efficient 208 Hybrid FE Concept supermini here sitting alongside the practical and high quality 308 family hatchback and the racy, performance-focused 308 R Concept. Mitsubishi will show another iteration of its sporty micro-size electric car with the debut of the i MiEV Sport Air concept at the Geneva motor show in March. Building on the i MiEV Sport, which we first saw at the Tokyo motor show in 2007, Mitsubishi adds a clear removable roof and slight alterations to the front fascia. A lithium-ion battery powers three magnetic synchronous motors--one in each front wheel and one to drive both rear wheels--with an all-wheel control system managing stability and traction control, and ABS for optimal stability and performance.
